McDonald’s is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a fast-paced team on a weekly schedule. You will guide crew, uphold quality and safety standards, and ensure a friendly guest experience.

Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred. Applicants must be 18 or older, and pay will reflect experience and market rate. This on-site role rewards performance with growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Food Safety: ensure safe handling and storage of food throughout the shift.
• Internal Communication: relay information between crew, managers and guests.
• Inventory Management: monitor supplies and restock as needed.
• Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness: keep areas clean and organized during the shift.
• Managing Crew: supervise and motivate team members to meet targets.
• Quality Food Production: oversee consistent quality and service standards.
• Exceptional Customer Service: maintain a positive guest experience.
• Safety and Security: enforce safety procedures and protect staff and guests.
• Scheduling: plan shifts to ensure adequate coverage and efficiency.
• Training: onboard and mentor new team members.

Requirements

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers. Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, which may include planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team is meeting McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare him/her to run a great shift, too. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned Departments meet their goals.
