Job summary

Mr Gatti's Pizza is seeking a Shift Leader to operate their restaurant and lead a team towards providing the best pizza in town. The role comes with immediate openings for both part-time and full-time positions, catering to individuals with management experience.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of management experience in the food service or hospitality industries. Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting the upward mobility towards managerial roles.

Responsibilities

Shift leaders operate our restaurants on a shift-by-shift basis. They learn management skills from their GM’s and apply them to the team. The role involves excelling at customer service, game room operations, or/and food production. Responsibilities include leading by example, supervising multiple team members, setting direction for all store members during shifts, emphasizing core values, and driving the brand culture. The position is an upwardly mobile path to Assistant Manager and General Manager.

• Must be available nights and weekends
• Must have management experience

Experience and Skills Required

• High School or GED. College degree a plus.
• Prefer a minimum two (2) years management experience in the food service industry, hospitality industry, or retail industry. Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrates strong leadership and guest service skills.
• Demonstrates sound reasoning and follow-through in decision-making processes.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational, financial and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Required Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of PC functions to prepare various computerized store reports.
• Exposure to handling OSHA, EEOC, FLMA, FLSA, and Health Department matters is a plus.
• Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to coach and direct employees.
• Basic Understanding of 'back of house' and 'front of house' operations.
