The franchisee is responsible for all employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure high quality, service, and cleanliness for customers. Shift Managers plan for each shift, monitor performance, take action to meet McDonald’s standards, monitor safety, security, and profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them to run a great shift. Shift Managers may also be responsible for meeting targets and helping their assigned departments meet their goals.
Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We seek positive team players with a flexible schedule who enjoy working in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants.
