Job summary

Arby's is seeking a Shift Manager to support the General Manager and Assistant GM. You will supervise 8–15 staff, train teammates, and ensure a high-quality guest experience.

Responsibilities include supervising opening/closing, inventory and cost controls, cash handling, and resolving guest issues while maintaining health, safety, and company policies. Prior management in foodservice and Serve Safe certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and guest service focus.
• Experience with inventory, cost controls and cash handling.
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Management experience in foodservice preferred; Serve Safe is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a shift of 8–15 employees efficiently while complying with labor laws.
• Train new team members on procedures and policies.
• Maintain accurate records of employee performance and attendance.
• Professionally handle guest complaints and concerns.
• Develop strategies to increase sales and improve efficiency.
• Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Oversee opening and closing of the restaurant.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
• Perform all other duties necessary to run the restaurant.
