Job summary

McDonald's Restaurants Limited in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily operations, coach crew, and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service while upholding Quality, Service and Cleanliness.

You will manage shifts, monitor performance, plan for each shift, coordinate with departments, ensure safety and profitability, and help the team meet targets. Previous leadership in food service preferred; you must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in McDonald’s corporate-owned restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts each week, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service.
• Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to meet standards (Quality, Service, Cleanliness).
• Plan for each shift, monitor performance, communicate with next shift manager to ensure smooth handover.
• Meet targets during shifts and help departments meet goals.
