Super Star Car Wash is seeking a Shift Manager on Duty to lead daily operations at our Mesa, AZ location. You will drive staffing, safety, service standards, and guest experience while developing teammates and sustaining a pressure‑tested culture of accountability.
As a Manager‑on‑Duty you’ll coach teams, resolve guest issues, and ensure smooth shift transitions. This role offers hands‑on leadership, growth opportunities, and a clear path into higher level operations.
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results.
- High integrity and professionalism.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.
- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
- Serve as Manager-on-Duty, resolving guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
- Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
- Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
- Provide shoulder to shoulder coaching and celebrate and recognize team members.
- Support training completion and promote a culture of engagement and accountability.
- Proactively identify safety risks and address issues immediately.
- Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards.
- Rotational Leadership Focus Areas: People & Staffing Leadership; Sales & Training Leadership; Operations & Tunnel Leadership.

Shift Managers are the operational leaders who drive our business daily. As Manager-on-Duty, you are accountable for driving onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. Shift Managers rotate through defined areas of responsibility to build well rounded leadership, business, and operational skills.

- Operations & Tunnel Leadership -- Site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization
- At least 18 years of age

Pay Range - The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on relevant experience and geographic location.
$18.25 - $19.25 per hour
