Job summary

McDonald's in Northampton is seeking energetic Crew/Shift Managers to lead weekly shifts, ensuring fast, friendly service and high standards of quality and cleanliness.

You will supervise Crew, manage schedules, train new team members, and drive performance while maintaining safety and profitability. Comprehensive training and career development support are provided, including tuition assistance and English language classes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shifts weekly and ensure fast, accurate, friendly service for customers.
• Provide leadership to Crew and other Managers during shifts to uphold Quality, Service and Cleanliness.
• Supervise food safety and cleanliness procedures to meet McDonald's standards.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and next Shift Managers to prepare for future shifts.
• Aim to achieve targets during shifts and help departments reach goals.
• Monitor safety, security, inventory and profitability during shifts.
• Manage Crew schedules and motivate high performance during shifts.
• Provide exceptional customer service and high-quality food production.
• Train new team members on critical job functions.

Responsibilities

In this role, you would oversee shifts every week and make sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. You would provide leadership to Crew and other Managers during a shift to ensure outstanding Quality, Service and Cleanliness to customers. Shift Managers also play an important role in running great restaurants by:

• Supervising food safety and cleanliness procedures to ensure the team is meeting McDonald's standards
• Communicating effectively with Crew and the next Shift Managers to help them prepare to run a great shift, too
• Achieving targets during their shifts and help departments meet their goals
• Taking action to monitor safety, security, inventory and profitability
• Managing Crew schedules and encouraging high performance during their shift
• Providing exceptional customer service and quality food production
• Training new team members on critical job functions
