Nothing Bundt Cakes in Evansville, IN is seeking a Bakery Shift Manager to keep the atmosphere upbeat and the sweets coming. Full and part-time positions are available.

You will lead shifts, coach employees, and assist the General Manager while delivering excellent service to our guests. Ideal candidates have prior management experience in food service, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work at a fast pace.

• Receive and shelve truck shipments.
• Rotate ingredients using the FIFO method.
• Adhere to food service health and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior management experience in a restaurant or food service setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and is able to work at a fast pace. Physical requirements of the position involve the ability to lift 50 pounds (sometimes overhead), bend stand and walk for up to 8 hours. Must have the ability to work short periods of time in a commercial freezer.

Job responsibilities include:

• Ability to work in all departments of the bakery after training
• Leading shifts to ensure they are running according to brand and time standards
• Coaching and developing employees
• Assisting the General Manager with assigned tasks

• Cash handling / opening & closing operations
• Cleaning & general upkeep of the bakery
• Receiving & shelving truck shipments
