Job summary

McDonald's is seeking a Shift Manager to provide leadership during each shift, guiding crew and fellow managers to deliver fast, friendly service while meeting McDonald’s standards for quality, safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include planning shifts, monitoring performance, managing inventory and training, and ensuring daily maintenance. Experience in leadership roles within food service or retail is preferred; must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in restaurant, retail or hospitality preferred.
• Positive team player with a flexible schedule and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be 18 years or older to be a manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shifts weekly to ensure fast, accurate and friendly service.
• Lead crew and other managers during shifts to meet McDonald’s standards.
• Monitor safety, security, profitability, and communicate with the next Shift Manager.
• Plan for each shift, manage tasks, and help departments meet goals.
• Ensure food safety, quality production, and exceptional customer service.
• Handle scheduling, training and inventory during shifts.
• Maintain daily maintenance and cleanliness and overall store operations.
