Job summary

Five Guys in San Diego is seeking a Shift Supervisor to help manage daily restaurant operations and lead the team. You will work closely with crew members and shift leaders, ensuring quality food prep, timely delivery, and outstanding customer service.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the General Manager in daily tasks. A 1–2 year supervisory background in food service or retail is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Flexible schedule including weekends preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations in the General Manager's absence.
• Direct staff, ensure compliance with standards, and manage product prep, delivery, and inventory.
• Maintain customer relations, restaurant upkeep, and safety practices.
• Support team development and shift leadership.

The pay for this position is $21-23/hour +Tips +Bonus

Shift managers are trained to perform all of the duties preformed by the Crew Members and Shift Leaders, with additional responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant in the General Manager’s absence: ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including product prep and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, team and inventory management, and other duties as required or assigned.
