Sonic Drive-In in Kansas is seeking a dedicated team member to perform, lead, and supervise restaurant operations across fountain, grill, drive-thru, and prep areas, ensuring quality products and fast, friendly service.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and leadership to coach crew, uphold standards, and train new hires. Flexible hours include nights and weekends; eligible employees may enroll in medical, dental, and vision plans and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math and reading skills required.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to lead, coach, and supervise team members.
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties.

Job Summary: This position performs, leads, and supervises basic operational duties to

provide quality products and service to guests.

Essential Duties:

Perform, lead, and supervise station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp,

back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru (if applicable)) as

assigned to meet operational and quality standards.

Ensures team is working to capacity and meeting speed of service standards

Coaches and trains crew members on tasks.

Comply with all company policies, procedure, and operational standards.

Assist with new employee orientation and training.

Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD

Perform, lead, and supervise regular cleaning and sanitation duties – including trash

disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping

counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used

grease – pursuant to operational standards.

Regular attendance.

Additional Duties:

Lead shift meetings

Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Time/Shift Expectations: Minimum of 30 hours per week; irregular hours, nights; weekends;

and holidays

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Continuous standing, bending, reaching,

moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant environment; frequent exposure to heat

and hot liquid shortening while cooking; frequent exposure to freezer when stocking food

items; occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions.
