Basic Function

To direct and ensure the efficient operation of the front line and kitchen.

Personal Requirements, Skills, And Abilities
  • Some high school courses preferred.
  • Must be clean, neat, and well-groomed.
  • Thorough knowledge of kitchen food preparation, register equipment operation, and crew employment procedures.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills to work with employees and customers.
  • Good hearing and vision to work effectively and safely.
  • Honest, assertive, and well-mannered.
  • Ability to follow instructions, read recipes, and pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to cope with pressure and remain calm.
  • Team player, able to work with minimal disruption.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and stoop during shifts.
  • Manual dexterity for rapid and accurate work during busy periods.
