RealTruck seeks a Shift Manager to assist the Production Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating fabrication and assembly operations to deliver high-quality products on time. This role will oversee a shift crew on the production floor and drive safety, housekeeping, quality, and labor deployment improvements.

The position is 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 4:30pm–3:30am, Fridays as needed) and involves hiring decisions and other workforce management duties to support a lean, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Lean manufacturing training.
• Experience leading teams in a production setting.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate fabrication and assembly to meet plan and quality targets.
• Hire decisions and workforce management for the shift.
• Lead problem solving (A3/8D) for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coach individuals and ensure adherence to policy via servant leadership.
• Collaborate with production planner and warehouse supervisor to align floor activity with the plan.

Job description

The Shift Manager will assist the Production Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate fabrication and assembly operations to effectively and profitably produce superior quality products and ensure on-time delivery. This position will oversee a shift crew at the warehouse and will provide leadership to improve safety, housekeeping, product quality, process efficiency, and labor deployment. This role will be responsible for hiring decisions, and a range of other workforce management activities.

This is for 2nd shift, Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:30am and Fridays based on the Business needs.

CORE FUNCTIONS

• Overseeproduction activities. Ensure activitiesare being achieved in accordancetoTHI Ecosystem expectations. Follow escalation procedures to react when targets are not achieved across all shifts.
• Properly resolveproblems and troubleshoot issues as they arisepossiblywithout the direction of management.
• Assign team members with tasks to be completed each shift.
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and coach individuals when not in accordancetoour servant leadership approach.
• Lead A3/8D (problem solving) activities for key issues within production ranging from Safety, Quality, Productivity, Continuous Improvement, etc.
• Support Continuous Improvement efforts with targeted annual savings.
• Meet daily with production planner and warehouse supervisor to ensure activities on the floor for build are in line with plan. All issues that impact need to be escalated and clearly understood at all levels of the organization.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

• 5+ years ofmanufacturingexperience required.
• Training in Lean manufacturingrequired.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
