Position Summary

A Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing store operations in the absence of, or as directed by, the General Manager, Assistant Manager, or Store Manager during their shift. Responsibilities include supervising team members, executing store tasks, maintaining product quality, and ensuring excellent guest experience in accordance with company standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and products such as pretzels, Cinnabon, and yogurt, including baking and packaging.
• Oversee product preparation and monitor baking times and quality.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by embodying brand values.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational standards of the store and equipment.
• Operate food preparation machinery and manage inventory supplies.
• Support brand standards and train team members.
• Prepare beverages and handle customer orders safely.
• Manage team activities, including breaks and staffing during shifts.
• Maintain composure during busy periods and handle guest complaints professionally.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
• Comply with all safety, health, and legal regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6 months to 2 years of management or food service experience.
• Food handler certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days.
• Basic math, reading skills, and attention to detail.
• Leadership skills, guest focus, positive attitude, and availability for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with POS systems and retail technology.
• Knowledge of food industry or retail operations preferred.

Physical and Job Requirements

• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand motions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum age for oven operation is 16; mixer is 18.
• Reliable transportation and current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain it.
