2nd Shift: Monday-Wednesday 5pm-5am (+Thursdays during Peak)

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Shift Manager oversees the production flow, overall quality, merchandising, and packaging of the daily operations of the manufacturing facility.

What You'll Do Here:

1. Provide leadership and management to all printing processes, manufacturing, packaging, fulfillment, and other areas.
2. Supervise Leads and Operators directly.
3. Report on daily, weekly, and monthly metrics.
4. Perform duties as defined by the Manufacturing Manager.
5. Measure and report plant performance.
6. Plan labor needs effectively.
7. Implement new systems, policies, and procedures.
8. Promote and drive quality processes.
9. Ensure safety in all areas, including processing and behavioral standards.
10. Adhere to OSHA policies and standards.
11. Execute tasks in a timely manner.
12. Develop team capabilities.
13. Collaborate with other departments outside of operations.
14. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The Skills You'll Bring:

• 3+ years of relevant experience supervising over 15 direct reports preferred.
• Experience with digital press, bindery, or technical areas is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and develop effective solutions.
• Proficiency in writing concise operation reports with graphical and presentation support.
• Project and process management skills.
• Formal process improvement training (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and MRP systems is advantageous.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive actions.
• Willingness to work in different production departments as needed.
