Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Shift Manager to lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, guiding team members across all bakery areas and ensuring guests receive outstanding service while upholding our quality and cleanliness standards.

You will oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, daily reporting, and compliance with food safety. You’ll also support production activities and help address guest concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

As a Shift Manager, you will lead bakery operations during assigned shifts, support team members across all areas of the bakery, and help ensure every guest receives outstanding service while maintaining our high standards for quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

• Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences
• Oversee daily bakery operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Provide coaching, training, and support to team members
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Support guest service, cake decoration, frosting, and production activities as needed
• Address guest concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate operational needs to managementi
• Foster a positive, team-oriented culture that reflects the Nothing Bundt Cakes brand

What We're Looking For

• Previous leadership, supervisory, retail, restaurant, or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and results-driven
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
