Must Love Dogs!

We are looking to add fun, high‑energy team members who want to become BFFs with dogs every day! This job requires full devotion to the care of our Campers (dogs) and our fellow team members & pet parents.

You will learn about canine behavior and how to ensure they interact safely in pack environments. You will be on your feet all day, monitoring them and cleaning to keep everyone healthy. You will also interact with pet parents at the front desk, answer phone calls, make reservations, etc.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team to achieve company goals.
• Feeding, cleaning cabins, play areas, and common spaces (including break and restrooms).
• Play yard monitoring, cabin and facility maintenance.
• Greeting customers and campers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assisting customers with questions.
• Demonstrating concern for the care, attitudes, behaviors of pets and the relationships they have with pet parents.
• Recognizing and performing specific care needs as communicated by pet guardians and in accordance with company policy, including taking and writing special requirements on Camp Cards.
• Supervising dogs in play yards at all times.
• Conducting dog health checks and notifying management of any changes.
• Recognizing signs of aggression or other behavior issues and addressing them immediately.
• Ensuring morning and afternoon waste elimination, rest, and snack breaks for dogs.
• Using animal restraint when appropriate.
• Becoming fluent in animal play behavior and signs of aggression for pet safety.
• Upkeeping yard areas.
• Performing janitorial duties: taking out garbage, sweeping, mopping, restocking supplies, and overall kennel cleaning maintenance.
• Basic dog grooming.
• Accurate data entry.
• Keeping up with basic health, vaccination, and safety knowledge.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the general or assistant manager.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience with dogs helpful but not required; training provided.
• Previous experience in a leadership role.
• Above‑average computer and customer service skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable transportation.
• Team player; teamwork essential for safety.
• Punctual and reliable; must be present for assigned shifts.
• Must ensure Camp cleanliness at all times.

Schedule

20 to 25 hours per week.

• Monday – Saturday.
• 6:30 am – 1 pm
• 9 am – 1 pm
• 1 pm – 5 pm
• 1 pm – 7:30 pm
• Sunday & Holidays
• 7:30 am – 11:30 am
• 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
