Camp Bow Wow is seeking a Dog Handler/Technician to join our team and care for dogs across varied shifts. The role emphasizes safe, compassionate dog handling, daily care, and a friendly, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities include feeding, supervising social play, basic grooming, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Availability for 6:30 AM start and willingness to work evenings and weekends will help us deliver top-notch pet care year-round.

Qualificações

• Experience with dogs is required and owning your own strong disposition around all dogs of all sizes.

• Dogs require daily care and we are an essential service open 365 days.
• Our families work in essential services too; open during snow, ice, sunshine, extreme heat, etc.
• Dependable, reliable team player with attention to detail, caring for dogs and people.
• Must be respectful, intelligent, confident, and coachable for positive self-improvement.
• Confidently manage up to 25 dogs at one time.
• Physically able to lift 75+ pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Detailed cleaning, including all dog excrement.
• Food prep, grooming, safe dog handling, and dog supervision.

Dog Handler. Technician. Hospitality Sales

Schedule: We care for dogs 24/7/365. Looking for Team Player for variety of shifts. Operating hours are 6:30 AM (or earlier when we are full) to close around 7:30 PM, with some shift flexibility either morning, or afternoon to close, or all day.

Pay: Commensurate with past experience: $9.75/hour to $19.50/hour, and potential merit-based bonuses pool participation for Team Members, adding large hourly increases per pay check, which may range from additional ~$1.75/hour to possibly over additional $10/hour in potential bonuses, depending on seasonality, individual job performance, Team Member standing, and company business performance for High seasons is now through Christmas Holiday year end seasons.

Description

Only Team Players: Team player who possesses strong, confident, and caring disposition around all dogs. Responsibly care for dogs for their healthiest wellbeing, maintaining dog safety and your safety, at all times. You will be trained to care for our dogs, professionally, which is likely different than you may care for your own dogs, and expect you to maintain highest safest professional standards for your safety. Feeding overnight dates, administering medicines if necessary, maintaining cleanest environment daily throughout each day, supervising dogs social play to ensure they are safe, healthy, and proactively preventing dog altercations. Expanding your personal dog knowledge to anticipate altercations, positively interacting with dogs, and must have ability to stand and walk throughout day, grooming dogs, and much more.

• Confidently manage up to 25 dogs at one time, and not for the faint of heart, and it is excited.
• Physically controlling dogs of all sizes/breeds in a pack setting.
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds (many of our dogs weigh over 150 lbs.).
• Physically must be able to stand and walk for extended lengthy periods of time.
• Detailed cleaning, and more cleaning, including all dog excrement.
• Food prep, grooming, safe dog handling, and dog supervision.
