Job summary

Bar Louie in Irving, TX is looking for a Shift Leader to help run daily operations with a focus on hospitality and teamwork. You will oversee service during shifts, guide staff, maintain quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Casual Restaurant experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Servsafe License preferred, or able to obtain a State-approved license – must be maintained per State Mandates.
• Strong leadership and goal-setting abilities.
• Availability to work evenings, holidays, weekends.
• Maintain groomed appearance and uniform standards.
• Calm in fast-paced environment with organization and urgency.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

As a Shift Leader, you’ll oversee restaurant operations when the General Manager or Assistant Manager is not on duty. What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in the Casual Restaurant industry is required.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
• Servsafe License preferred, or able to obtain a State-approved license – must be maintained per State Mandates.
• Strong knowledge of team leadership, developing goals and action plans for personal/professional growth.
• Availability to work within open hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and follow uniform standards.
• Remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere and demonstrate a high level of organization, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
• Display a positive and outwardly friendly attitude towards all guests – Live the McAlister’s Touch.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds.
