Job summary

Steak ’n Shake Huber Heights is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy and accountability. You will set up the team for successful openings and closings, coach staff, and ensure fast, friendly service while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory or management experience in quick-service or restaurants, strong communication, and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• US work authorization required.
• Previous supervisory/shift lead or restaurant management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success.
• Coach team members for success and maintain brand standards of cleanliness and safety.

What You Will Do

• Lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability
• Ensure strong openings and closings by setting up the team for success
• Set the tone for the shift—motivate and coach team members for success
• Deliver fast, friendly, and accurate service that exceeds guest expectations
• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members
• Support training and onboarding of new team members
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly
