Steak ’n Shake Newark is seeking a Shift Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, confidence, and accountability. You will ensure strong openings and closings, motivate and coach team members, and deliver fast, friendly service that exceeds guest expectations.

This role requires reliability, servant leadership, and a passion for mentoring others in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay up to $19.50 per hour plus market-leading benefits are offered.

• Ensure all brand standards are met - cleanliness, food safety, and quality.
• Handle opening and closing duties, including key-holder responsibilities.
• Count drawers, manage deposits, and finalize end-of-day reports.
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and team members.
• Support training and onboarding of new team members.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment built on trust and respect.
• Step into any station as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
