Job description

Job Title: Subway Shift Manager

As part of the Subway Team, you as a Shift Manager will focus on four main objectives:

1. Providing an excellent guest experience
2. Ensuring that great food is prepared and served
3. Maintaining a clean, functional, and attractive restaurant environment
4. Being a team player

In addition to the responsibilities of a typical Sandwich Artist, your daily tasks will include:

1. Cascading training to Sandwich Artists on existing and new responsibilities
2. Supervising staff
3. Practicing inventory control standards
4. Ensuring equipment is in proper working order during shifts
5. Completing necessary paperwork

As a Subway Team Member, you will have access to:

Prerequisites

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Some food industry experience

Essential Functions

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Physical ability to work in various restaurant areas and operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
• Ability to bend, stand, and walk throughout the entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally

*Training on roles and responsibilities will be provided

Positions available include Full Time and Part Time, with Day, Evening, and Weekend shifts varying by location.
