Job summary

Unilever is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to coordinate the maintenance technicians on their shift, ensuring timely completion of tasks and escalation when needed. You will work with the lead and manager to allocate resources and drive reliability improvements across assigned equipment.

You will build preventive maintenance plans, support root cause analysis, and collaborate with production and operations to meet performance and OEE targets while ensuring safety and quality audits are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 2+ years as maintenance supervisor/coordinator in fast-paced manufacturing (FMCG); food manufacturing preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience leading a team of maintenance technicians.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience making reliability/maintenance decisions to meet needs.
• Proven track record of implementing improvement ideas.

Responsibilities

• Communicate issues to other shift coordinators to ensure a consistent message and application of policies.
• Support maintenance team in troubleshooting, procuring parts, or escalating issues.
• Build preventative maintenance schedules and prioritize by equipment criticality.
• Collaborate with Production Supervisor to achieve performance and OEE targets.
• Ensure maintenance, quality and safety audits are carried out.
• Analyze root causes with maintenance lead and reliability supervisor; develop countermeasures.
• Review and develop long-term equipment maintenance plans with input from managers and operations.
• Plan, procure and document activities for machine enhancements with the team.
• Contact vendors/manufacturers for support and project deployment.
• Participate in safety or quality reviews and implement corrective actions.
