Job Description

As a SONIC Drive-In Shift Manager, you are responsible for assisting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in managing the daily operations of the restaurant to provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that guests will have an enjoyable experience at SONIC Drive-In. Responsibilities include:

• Assist with hiring, training, supervising, managing, directing, and developing team members to deliver a SuperSONIC experience.
• Ensure guest satisfaction to promote repeat business.
• Help employees understand the big picture and their roles by sharing the “why” behind tasks.
• Celebrate team successes and coach for improved performance.
• Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback during shifts.
• Create a positive, upbeat atmosphere that makes work enjoyable.
• Manage key areas: food and paper, labor, and guest service.
• Maintain SONIC safety and sanitation standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
