Job summary

Four Oaks Family And Childrens Services is seeking a Shift Leader to guide youth and support a safe, therapeutic environment. You will lead a team of Youth Counselors, model professional behavior, and coordinate daily activities to promote growth and stability for youth and families.

The role emphasizes building relationships, overseeing documentation, and partnering with leadership on staffing and operation needs.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED plus two years of child welfare experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a social services related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and inspire youth counselors and team members during your shift.
• Build positive relationships with youth and help them develop healthy behaviors and life skills.
• Coordinate daily shift activities, ensure accurate documentation, and support program operations.
• Collaborate with program leadership on staffing, scheduling, and transportation coordination.
• Create a safe, structured, therapeutic environment where youth feel supported and respected.
• Guide youth through problem-solving, accountability, and positive decision-making.
