Job summary

Subway is seeking a Shift Manager in Pittsfield, MA to focus on guest experience, food quality, cleanliness, inventory, and staff supervision. You will cascade training to Sandwich Artists and support daily operations with a team-oriented mindset.

Essentially you will train and supervise, manage inventory, and ensure equipment works properly while handling paperwork and shift coverage. This role supports day, evening, and weekend shifts at various locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Completing paperwork as needed

PREREQUISITES

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Communication and organizational skills

Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
