Job summary

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits is seeking a Shift Leader Trainee who will be trained to move into a Shift Leader role typically within 90 days. The position emphasizes high level guest service, cashier duties, inventory support, and assisting store management in daily operations.

You will train to act as Manager on Duty, open/close the store, and coach other team members while ensuring compliance with policies and delivering an informed guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 6 months in a management or leadership role OR 2 years of college/technical education in Business Management or related field.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Manager on Duty in training, open/close the store, and support store leadership.
• Greet Guests and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate POS, handle cash and tender, apply coupons per procedures and reconcile at shift end.
• Train and coach associates to promote exceptional customer service and adherence to procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment including sales floor and stockroom.
• Assist with stocking, merchandising, cart retrieval, trash, and restroom upkeep.
• Provide gift wrapping, assemble baskets, and offer carryout when needed.
• Unload deliveries and merchandise shelves per guidelines.
