Starting Pay: $16.10/hour plus Benefits

JOB SUMMARY: To assist store management in daily responsibilities.

Direct Reports: Store Associates

Essential Job Functions
  1. Punctual and dependable attendance.
  2. Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer/contributor service skills.
  3. Assist in preparation of daily reports.
  4. Open and close cash registers, perform tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, and balancing cash drawers.
  5. Assist in sales and processing of items.
  6. Conduct store monthly safety inspections with Store Manager to identify hazards.
  7. Maintain safety log and coordinate safety drills.
  8. Attend training as required.
  9. Abide by policies and procedures set by the agency.
  10. Review and familiarize with safety policies, attend safety training, and report unsafe conditions.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties and projects as required by management.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Reliable transportation and communication required.

Physical Requirements

  • Operate a computer, handle textiles and donated goods.
Work Environment
  • Climate-controlled retail environment with exposure to dust, mold, dirt, pollen, and extreme temperatures.
  • Availability for days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
  • Work 40+ hours when required.
  • Moderate noise level.
