Job summary

Domino's Pizza Champaign is seeking a Shift Runner to lead on-shift operations, ensuring fast service, accurate order fulfillment, and friendly customer experiences.

As a Shift Runner, you will supervise team members, manage open/close duties, handle inventory and ensure food safety, while supporting scheduling and training.

The role offers a full-time schedule with competitive pay, and benefits after probation, along with opportunities to advance within the Domino’s franchise.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with 2 years of driving experience if 18 or older, or 1 year if younger.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance.
• Strong leadership skills and a desire to guide and develop team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and cash handling proficiency.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to learn company-specific procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in food service or retail (preferred).
• Familiarity with the Champaign-Urbana area (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate team members during assigned shifts, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Oversee daily operations, including food preparation, order fulfillment, and customer service.
• Manage inventory, maintain quality control, and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Train and mentor new team members on company policies and procedures.
• Assist in scheduling and staff management to optimize store performance.
• Collaborate with store management to implement new initiatives and achieve business goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform opening and closing duties as required.
• Contribute to the store's overall success by meeting sales targets and improving efficiency.
