Job summary

KwikFill in Nicholson, PA is seeking a Shift Leader to support the Store Manager and develop new team members. This entry-level role trains you to become an Assistant Manager, handling day-to-day operations, customer service, and cash handling.

You will greet customers, stock merchandise, maintain shelves, and ensure health and safety standards. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reliable transportation, and a HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Offer appropriate customer service.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register and required equipment with accuracy.
• Price, stock, and face merchandise; stock gondolas, shelving, counters, walk-in & upright coolers, backroom storage.
• Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation to avoid damage or spoilage; may lift 50 lbs or more.
• Maintain store per health department rules and regulations; replace gas nozzles and hoses, change pump filters, sweep lots, trash removal, cleaning.
• Follow all security and safety policies and procedures.
• Account for all shift and daily transactions.
• Present a neat appearance; enforce dress code.
• Learn and complete required store paperwork with accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store/ District Manager.
• Be responsible for cash and inventories in absence of management.
• Report shortages/overages immediately.
