Job summary

Shake Shack is hiring a Restaurant Lead to oversee shift operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, quality and speed. You will coach hourly Team Members and support with purchasing, receiving and inventory as needed.

We’re looking for at least 1 year of restaurant leadership, a Food Safety Certification, and strong problem solving and communication skills. Starting hourly rate is $24–$28, with $2 more per hour for post-midnight shifts. Join our Shack Fam.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure the highest levels of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (i.e. Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.)
• Participates in applicant interviews and assists with employee relations.
