Shift Leader - Restaurant 205426 - 1486 Getwell Rd., Memphis, TN 38111
Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager
Department: Field Operations
Job Summary: To serve as a restaurant leader and ensure that Team Members on shift are provided with the proper coaching, training, and development necessary to provide an outstanding customer experience at Church's. Ensure compliance with all Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures as set forth by the company.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
- Ensure all Church's menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
- Assign and oversee activities carried out by Team Members.
- Assist Team Members in preparing quality products, providing service, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
- Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
- Perform opening and closing duties as required.
- Follow proper procedures for food preparation, receiving, handling, and storage.
- Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors.
- Ensure on-time attendance of all employees during shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience)
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. recommended.
- ServSafe® food safety training recommended.
Position Qualifications/Functional Skills
- Complete weekly reports and ensure accuracy.
- Enter inventory and payroll data into the POS system.
- Ensure proper nightly POS system shutdown.
- Adhere to cash handling and security procedures.
- Possess a valid Driver's License, have access to a vehicle, and proof of insurance.
- Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
