Job Overview

The Shift Leader at Church's Chicken PR is responsible for leading restaurant operations during their shift, coaching team members, ensuring food quality and safety, and providing excellent customer service. This role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and is part of the Field Operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
  2. Supervise food preparation and service according to company standards.
  3. Assign and monitor team members' tasks.
  4. Assist in food prep, service, and maintaining cleanliness.
  5. Demonstrate proper procedures to team members.
  6. Enforce safety and security policies.
  7. Perform opening and closing duties as per checklists.
  8. Follow proper procedures for food handling and storage.
  9. Maintain professional leadership behavior.
  10. Ensure punctuality of staff.
  11. Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. recommended.
  • ServSafe food safety certification is recommended.
Skills and Requirements
  • Accurate completion of sales, cash, and inventory reports.
  • Experience with POS systems and inventory management.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle during shifts.
  • Successful completion of the Shift Leader certification program.
