Reports To (Title): Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Job Summary: To serve as a restaurant leader and ensure that Team Members on shift are provided with the proper coaching, training, and development necessary to provide an outstanding customer experience at Church's. Ensure compliance with all Cajun Operating Company policies and procedures as set forth by the company.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
  • Ensure all Church's menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
  • Ensure that assigned activities are carried out by Team Members.
  • Assist Team Members as necessary to prepare quality products, provide service, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Demonstrate proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
  • Enforce safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required.
  • Follow proper procedures for food preparation, receiving, handling, and storage.
  • Maintain professional and ethical leadership behaviors.
  • Ensure on-time attendance for each employee.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Experience):
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. highly recommended.
  • ServSafe food safety training highly recommended.
Position Qualifications/Functional Skills:
  • Complete Weekly Sales Report, Bank deposit slips, Cash and Inventory worksheet, and other forms accurately.
  • Enter inventory and payroll data into the POS system as required.
  • Ensure nightly POS system closedown.
  • Adhere to cash handling and security procedures, including cash sales counts, drawer bank counts, POS deletions, over-rings, voids, large bill drops, and cash levels.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License, access to a vehicle during shifts, and proof of insurance.
  • Successfully complete the Shift Leader certification program.
