Job Overview

Reports To: Restaurant General Manager

Department: Field Operations

Summary: The Shift Leader is responsible for leading restaurant operations, coaching team members, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
2. Oversee the preparation and serving of menu items according to standards.
3. Assign and monitor team member activities.
4. Assist team members in food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
5. Demonstrate proper procedures and enforce safety policies.
6. Perform opening and closing duties as per checklists.
7. Follow proper procedures for food handling, storage, and rotation.
8. Maintain professional leadership behaviors.
9. Ensure punctuality of team members.
10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. recommended.
• ServSafe food safety certification is preferred.

Skills and Requirements

• Accurate completion of sales reports, cash handling, and inventory documentation.
• Ability to operate POS systems and ensure proper cash procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle during shifts.
• Successful completion of Shift Leader certification program.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
