Job summary

Hot Head Burritos in Dayton, OH is seeking a Shift Leader to help ensure smooth restaurant operations, uphold food safety standards, and coach team members. You will act as PIC in the absence of a manager and drive exceptional guest service.

The ideal candidate brings leadership experience in a restaurant, ServSafe or PIC certification, and a passion for teamwork. Availability to work nights and weekends is preferred, with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Understanding of and commitment to food safety procedures and regulations.
• PIC or ServSafe Certificate required or willing to obtain before starting.
• Experience as a manager, leader, or supervisor in a restaurant setting.
• Energetic, passionate and eager to learn.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs and stand long periods.
• Able to prepare and serve food per safety standards.
• Available to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Shift Management/PIC: Maintain high service standards, delegate staff, verify inventory levels, report discrepancies, address guest concerns.
• Coaching & Leadership: Provide guidance and coaching to team members, lead by example.
• Financial Management: Prepare daily reports and deposits, monitor cash flow and report discrepancies.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain food safety and cleanliness to the highest standards.
