Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader in Royal Oak, MI to collaborate with the General Manager, motivate the team, and ensure a top-notch guest experience. You will coach staff, open/close shifts, and uphold food quality in a clean, safe environment.

Eligible candidates should be 18+, able to work varied hours including early mornings, and pass background checks. ServSafe certification is required before leadership training; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid state issued driver’s license (preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet driving qualifications as required by Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with the General Manager to motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience.
• Empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team.
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed.
• Open and close the store with little to no supervision.
• Maintain quality of the food and beverages and ensure a safe, clean store environment.
