Job summary

Smoothie King in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a Shift Leader to guide daily operations, prepare smoothies, and ensure guest satisfaction while following store policies. You will train teammates, handle opening/closing tasks, and promote our nutrition products.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and passionate about health and fitness, with strong customer service and time-management skills. This role offers growth opportunities, a flexible schedule, and free smoothies.

Qualifications

• Must work at least 20 hours a week.
• Ability to connect and communicate with guests, team members, with a "guest comes first" attitude.
• Energetic and dynamic individuals who are excited about health and fitness
• Work with staff to accomplish all goals
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to follow procedures and willingness to comply with dress code requirements
• Food Service experience preferred but not required
• Commission Sales experience helpful
• Must be punctual
• Ability to think outside the box to satisfy our guests
• Must effectively plan and manage personal time vs. work time on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Genuine care and understanding for people's needs
• Must be able to read order tickets to prepare smoothies
• Prior retail sales experience in the Nutrition/Fitness Industry is a PLUS!

Shift Leaders are responsible for preparing and serving up our delicious, all-natural, energizing smoothies; as well as, consulting and assisting customers in choosing the right vitamins and nutritional supplements to help them reach their health and fitness goals. Shift Leaders are also responsible for making sure the shift runs smoothly. They are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction while following store policy.

• Ability to tolerate exposure to a wide variety of fresh, dried and/or frozen products, and powdered substances, including, but not limited to strawberries, bananas, peanuts, tree nuts (such as almonds), milk, soy, proteins, grains and spices without posing a direct threat to personal health and safety.
