Job summary

BD, a leading medical technology company, seeks a Shift Leader for the 1st shift (Wed/Thu) and weekend coverage (Sat/Sun, 6am-6pm) in El Paso, TX. You will lead manufacturing operations, ensure safe and compliant production of medical devices, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will manage staffing, monitor KPIs, and drive right-first-time manufacturing while partnering with HR on employee development and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in regulated environments such as medical device/pharma/healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor performance metrics across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity.
• Drive Lean initiatives, Kaizen events, and continuous improvement projects.
• Support CAPAs, investigations, and deviations with timely actions.
