A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a 'Leader in Maintenance' at their Factory Zero facility. This full-time role involves supervising maintenance teams, ensuring equipment reliability, and implementing quality standards while promoting safety and environmental practices. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical judgment and leadership skills.
On-site: This role is categorized as onsite. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Factory Zero location on a full-time basis.
The Role:
As a Leader in Maintenance, you will supervise salaried employees responsible for operations, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment. The work requires decision-making based on established procedures. It is of a technical nature, utilizing independent judgment within the limits of GMS, focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE). You will also be responsible for training others.
What You'll Do:
You will oversee a small to medium group of salaried maintenance Group Leaders, leading the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with GM maintenance systems. Your responsibilities include conducting checks and tests, evaluating results, and ensuring preventative maintenance, diagnosis of malfunctions, and solutions are implemented effectively, meeting schedule and quality standards.
