Thrive Restaurant Group’s Modern Market Eatery is seeking a Shift Leader to grow into a leadership role in a fast-paced, open-kitchen setting. You will ensure shift operations run smoothly, monitor food quality, supervise staff, and uphold guest service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of restaurant shift leader experience required.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Food handlers and alcohol service training preferred.
• Ability to coordinate work of self and others.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and delegate side work tasks.
• Continually monitor our food and food quality.
• Properly perform opening and closing procedures as the manager in charge of those shifts.
• Run the shift while making sure that all employees are taking their given / mandatory breaks at the appropriate time throughout the day.
• Work all stations in the restaurant while recognizing where you are most needed at a given time.
• Assist Manager with other duties as needed.
