Whataburger Restaurants is seeking a Shift Leader to spark operational excellence on every shift, coaching team members to improve skills and confidence while maintaining quality and safety standards.

You’ll lead shift management, train and motivate Family Members, manage costs and performance, and ensure smooth daily operations in your home restaurant. This role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and a strong guest experience.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with open availability including overnights, weekends, holidays, variable hours.
• Stand up to 10 hours and lift up to 55 lbs.
• Experience coaching or leading teams with strong customer service and communication.
• ServSafe Food Certification or ability to obtain during training.

Aufgaben

• Lead shift management to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness standards.
• Coach, train, and motivate Family Members—helping new hires ketchup quickly and seasoned pros turn up the heat.
• Support goals related to food cost, labor cost, sales performance, and basic inventory processes.
• Uphold food safety, workplace safety, sanitation, and compliance requirements.
• Foster teamwork, communication, accountability, and a positive work culture.
• Prepare, lead, and transition shift operations to keep the restaurant running like a well‑oiled fryer.
