Job summary

The Smoked Taco - St George is seeking a Shift Leader to guide the restaurant during assigned shifts, lead by example, and ensure guests and crew have a positive experience.

You will supervise service, coach team members, assist with training, maintain safety and cleanliness, manage opening/closing, and help with inventory while solving guest concerns. This role offers growth into higher leadership and a dynamic, fast-paced environment; we use eVerify to confirm U.S. employment eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, food service, retail, or customer service.
• Leadership experience or readiness to advance into a leadership role.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to coach others.
• Excellent communication with guests and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team during assigned shifts by setting a positive example and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and memorable guest experiences.
• Prepare fresh, high-quality food while maintaining brand standards.
• Coach, support, and motivate Crew Members during shifts.
• Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe restaurant environment.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and operational standards.
• Manage shift execution, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Assist with inventory, product rotation, and minimizing waste.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and provide positive resolutions.
• Support the General Manager and Assistant Manager with daily operations.
