Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader to guide bakery operations, bake and package orders, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will coach Cookie Crew members, delegate tasks, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and speed of service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ year in customer-facing roles, strong communication skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in retail, restaurant, hospitality or similar customer-focused setting.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Must be 18 years or older; ability to obtain food safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift and ensure a great guest experience from start to finish.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering top-notch guest service.
• Coach and motivate team members, providing direction and support.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations smooth and meet guest demand.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and partner with store leadership to optimize operations.
• Step in wherever needed to help the team succeed.
