Shake Shack is seeking a shift leader to supervise restaurant operations on a daily basis. You will direct team members to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, quality and speed, while fostering a positive, inclusive work environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, mentorship of hourly staff, and involvement in hiring and local operations. This on-site position offers learning and growth opportunities within a fast-growing hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of restaurant leadership experience supervising a team.
• Food Safety Certification according to local jurisdiction.
• Strong problem solving skills and adaptability.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of service and direct the work of team members on a shift to ensure safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed.
• Help build and lead a high performing team of hourly Team Members.
• May assist with operational support functions (Purchasing, Receiving, Inventory, etc.).
• Participate in applicant interviews and assist with employee relations.
