Job summary

Murphy Family Restaurants, a McDonald’s franchisee, is seeking a Shift Manager to lead shifts and ensure fast, friendly service across Southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

This role requires at least 1 year of management experience, preferably in quick service, with flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time) and opportunities to develop leadership and drive guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience, preferably in a quick service restaurant.
• Strong customer service and support focus with leadership capabilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan for each shift (i.e., crew positioning, stock levels); monitor crew performance during the shift, take action to ensure the team meets standards.
• Maintain safety and security during the shift; ensure cash controls are in place (safe contents, skims, deposits).
• Oversee profitability of the shift; manage labor and food cost.
• Provide encouraging leadership for crew and managers to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
• Lead food safety procedures and cleanliness measures to meet McDonald’s standards.
