Job summary

Einstein Bros. Bagels in Commerce Township, MI is seeking a Shift Leader to coach the team, open and close the store, and deliver a great guest experience with quality food in a clean, safe environment.

You’ll work with the General Manager, gain leadership experience, and enjoy a flexible schedule, paid time off after 90 days, tips, and a 401K match. Many leaders have grown into general management roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team and set the morale and tone of the store.
• Provide feedback and coach team members as needed.
• Open and close the store with minimal supervision.
• Ensure quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment.
• Grow your career with opportunities to advance from Shift Leader to General Manager in time.
