Job summary

KwikFill in Elkland, PA is seeking a Shift Leader as an entry-level developmental role to train toward an Assistant Manager. The Shift Leader assists the location Manager in daily store operations and helps develop new employees, stepping into higher duties in the Manager's absence.

Typically, weekends are worked in a management capacity, and you will ensure customer service, cash handling, merchandising, and compliance with health and safety policies while performing stocking and related duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with retail POS or cash register helpful.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced store.

Responsibilities

• Offer appropriate customer service.
• Greet all customers with a smile and hello.
• Suggest merchandise purchases to all customers.
• Learn and operate the cash register and additional required equipment with accuracy.
• Price, stock, and face merchandise.
• Manage product storage, maintenance, and rotation activities to avoid damage or spoilage.
• Follow all security and safety policies and procedures.
• Account for all shift and daily transactions.
• Always present a neat and clean appearance.
• Learn and complete store required paperwork.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Store Manager or District Manager.
• Be responsible for all cash and inventories in the absence of the Assistant Manager and Store Manager.
