Job summary

Jimmy John’s is seeking a self-motivated Shift Leader (PIC) to join our in-person team in Chula Vista, CA. You’ll drive day-to-day operations, deliver world-class customer service, and train a fast-paced crew while maintaining store cleanliness and brand standards.

This full-time role offers growth opportunities and a supportive team environment. Expect 35–45 hours per week with day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, fast-food, or other related fields.
• Strong leadership skills that contribute to overall team performance and understand how their role relates to others.
• Positive, respectful, and enthusiastic attitude with guests and team members
• Ability to thrive and work well with others in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Learn and execute multiple tasks

Responsibilities

• Execute quality store operations and deliver exceptional customer and store experience.
• Seek ways to improve guest satisfaction by understanding and exceeding guest expectations, resolving guest issues, and developing and maintaining guest relationships.
• Train, supervise, and assist team members as necessary.
• Ensure orders are made fast, accurately, and consistent while complying with brand standards regarding portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures.
• Always maintain a professional appearance in compliance with the dress code.
• Comply with all food, safety, sanitation, and security guidelines.
• Operate POS while adhering to all cash handling policies efficiently and with integrity.
• Foster an environment of teamwork and display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
