Job summary

RaceTrac in Orlando is seeking a hands-on Shift Manager to lead a winning team during each shift. You’ll set the tone, coach crew, and ensure guest satisfaction while handling food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling.

You’ll train staff to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards, manage inventory, write-offs, and promote communication across shifts. This role rewards leadership with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience (retail, restaurant, or food service preferred).
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or GED (in progress or completed).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks without frequent breaks.
• Willingness to obtain and maintain required permits (food handlers, alcohol server, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Model a cheerful demeanor and hold the team accountable.
• Provide clear direction and assist with food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling.
• Coach team members in real-time with guidance and support.
• Address guest concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating when needed.
• Train team to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee inventory, write-offs, receiving, and cash wrap controls.
• Lead shift change communication and ensure team alignment throughout the day.
• Ensure staff stay informed about promotions and RaceTrac policies.
